In my approach, I use a lot of what nature, body movement and art has to teach us about our own nature and growth.

Many of my sessions are conducted outside in nature, on a walk, by the river, on paddle boards, or at the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. I am upbeat, casual AND yet very structured. I use humor at times, a gentle manner, and a collective “we” form of engaging my clients. It is vital to know we are all connected, not despite our differences, but rather due to our differences we are connected. I work to help you be “with” your challenges, to empower you, rather than seek perfection or elimination. I am not a “fixer”- Show up where you are, and that is where we meet, each time.

My approach is very “dialectical” (two parts that are very opposite can both be valid and true and exist together within us and around us) and I am an eclectic therapist drawing from many resources and teachings depending on client need.
